Connect with Claude Code

Requirements

• Claude Code installed
• A Knowatoa account

Setup

Run this command in your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http knowatoa https://app.knowatoa.com/mcp

That’s it. On your first request that uses Knowatoa data, Claude Code will open your browser so you can sign in.

Usage

Once connected, ask Claude Code about your AI search data:

• “How is my site doing in AI search?”
• “Show me my visibility across AI services”
• “What questions am I tracking?”
• “Add a question: What is the best CRM for small businesses?”

Removing the connection

To remove the Knowatoa MCP server:

claude mcp remove knowatoa

Troubleshooting

Browser login doesn’t complete Check that you’re signing in with the same email address associated with your Knowatoa account.

Token expired Tokens last 2 hours. If Claude Code reports an authentication error, it will automatically prompt you to sign in again.
