Quick Wins: A Guided Checklist for Each Site
When you first add a site to Knowatoa, the next steps aren’t always obvious. We’ve added a Quick Wins checklist to each site that gives you a clear path from setup to useful data.
What’s in the checklist
The checklist walks you through the key steps for getting a site fully set up and producing useful data:
- Add your brand words so we can identify when AI mentions you
- Set up your competitors so you can compare visibility
- Add at least 25 questions to track, enough to start seeing meaningful patterns
- Review your first set of results
Each step links directly to the page where you complete it, so there’s no hunting around the interface. As you finish each one, it checks off automatically.
Why 25 questions
We found that accounts tracking fewer than 25 questions tend to get a narrow, sometimes misleading picture of their AI search visibility. With 25 or more, patterns start to emerge: which topics you’re strong on, where competitors are beating you, and which AI models favor your content. It’s the point where the data becomes genuinely useful for making decisions.
Where to find it
The Quick Wins checklist appears on your site’s overview page. If you’ve already completed all the steps, it stays out of the way. If you have multiple sites, each one has its own independent checklist, so you can work through them at your own pace.
