Meet Sophie: LinkedIn and Bluesky Posts From Your Articles

Michael Buckbee

You’ve already met Connie (content) and Sam (search). Say hello to Sophie, a social media manager that turns the articles Connie publishes into posts on LinkedIn and Bluesky.

What Sophie does

When an article goes live, Sophie picks it up and drafts a platform-specific post for each social account you’ve connected. The voice and structure differ by platform:

  • LinkedIn personal: first-person, professional tone, hashtag-friendly
  • LinkedIn company page: written as “we”, company-page voice
  • Bluesky: short, conversational, light on hashtags

Each connection has its own post instructions, so if your voice on one platform isn’t the same as another, you can edit the defaults per account.

Draft or auto-schedule

Every social account has a publish mode:

  • Draft (default): Sophie creates the post and parks it in your queue. You review it and click Publish now when you’re ready.
  • Auto-schedule: Sophie approves the post right away and the next scheduled slot picks it up.

The mode is set per account, so you can auto-publish to Bluesky while keeping LinkedIn in draft for review.

LinkedIn personal and company page

LinkedIn treats personal posting and company-page posting as separate products with different permissions, so Knowatoa exposes them as two connection types. Connect either one or both, and Sophie treats each as its own account with its own voice.

Getting started

Open any topic and look for Social Distribution under Agents in the sidebar. Connect your LinkedIn and Bluesky accounts there. The next time Connie publishes a new article, Sophie will queue up drafts for every account you’ve connected.
